Independent Travel Guide Sales Contractor

About The Role: MetJet is currently developing a team of Sales Contractors for its West De Pere ticket office (though contractors can/will work independently from their locaiton...the office is available as a computer/phone resource). These individuals will promote the company’s online travel guide, Trexcursion, initially to businesses in Central Florida, Minneapolis and NE Wisconsin. This role allows candidates to work independently on a schedule that best meets their needs. The online travel guides are being promoted to the business owners and managers, so the candidates that apply will be expected to provide friendly service, be motivated, confident, assertive, determined, patient and have the ability to talk comfortably with strangers. Within this role, Sales Contractors will be conducting cold calls, responding to business inquiries and promoting the benefits of Trexcursion over the phone, or in person. Within this role, Sales Contractors will conduct cold calls, and respond to business inquiries, with the overall goal of selling business listings to owners and managers of hotels, restaurants, attractions and service providers. With MetJet’s focus of selling ads within multiple markets (including NE Wisconsin) Sales Contractors may have the opportunity to interact with local business leaders.

All training will be provided by Trexcursion, and will be conducted through Trexcursion.

Candidates Must:
  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Have authorization to work in the United States
         (visa sponsorship not provided for this role)
  • Have a high school Diploma, GED or equivalent education required
         (current High School students exempted through recommendation of teacher/counselor)
  • Have strong verbal and written Skills
  • Be comfortable using the internet
  • Have general computer experience
  • Sales experience is a plus (not required)

    About MetJet: MetJet is a De Pere, WI based public tour operator, which was funded by local business leaders and individuals that are dedicated to providing affordable nonstop air service between underserviced cities (primarily Green Bay) and key markets.
    Trexcursion was contracted by MetJet to develop online travel and city guides for the cities initially being served through its flights.
